Iguana Resources has recently signed a farm-in agreement with Carlie Mining Ltd, a 100% subsidiary of ASX listed Castle Minerals, over two of its licenses Degbiwu and Gbiniyiri located in NW Ghana. The Degbiwu license is a 150km2 prospecting license whilst Gbiniyiri is a 1,050km2 reconnaissance license.

Carlie Mining has previously delineated an open–ended inferred gold resource of 107,000oz (2.9 million tonnes @ 1.1 g/t) at the prospective Kpali target and also outlined several other anomalous targets including an interesting gold-zinc prospect at Bundi which are both located at the confluence of 3 major regional structures.

A number of interesting targets were also outlined by Carlie on the Gbiniyiri license which Iguana intends to carry out further work on as part of its exploration work programme on the two licenses.
